Unsure about the journey to owning your own holiday home? The process can be a bit daunting so we’ve tried to answer a few of the questions you might have….

First of all you need to find a caravan park, you’ve managed to make your way here so your well on your way with that. There are plenty of caravan parks around, we’d recommend you make some visits to get a good feel for the ones you like.  We’re happy to greet you, just let us know when you want to visit so we can make sure we’re available to show you around.

We’ll give you a tour of the park and answer any questions you may have. We can also show you any caravans we have for sale or plots we have available.

It’s not a problem! If you decide you like one of our parks and have picked your plot then you’re one step on the way toward owning your own holiday home. There are a wide variety of static caravans available to suit all tastes and needs so finding one for you is the easy bit.

We’ll help you to do that by working with our trusted partners such as Salop Leisure and Roy Kellet Caravans. They have showgrounds where you can view many different caravans and trained advisors to talk you through the different options. We’ll work with them and you to find something that fits on the plot you like and suits your needs.

The costs involved in purchasing a static caravan can be confusing and daunting for a first time buyer. You’ll need to decide on a budget. New caravans typically start from around £30,000 so they’re not cheap but this is a huge lifestyle choice you’ll be making and you should be able to enjoy the benefits of it for many years to come.

First of all you have to purchase a caravan. If you purchase a caravan we already have on park the price will include the delivery (transporting the caravan from the dealer to the caravan park), siting (siting the caravan on the plot and any associated ground works) and connection (connecting the caravan to the services). If you’d rather purchase a caravan which is currently in a dealer then you’ll need to add those costs on top of the dealers price for the caravan. Every caravan park does the same, we’re really competitive on those charges.

Once you’ve done that you’ll pay an annual site fee for the plot and the services your caravan uses. We send you an invoice for those every January which breaks it down for you. You will also want to think about the cost of insuring your caravan and maintaining it.

Once you’ve paid a deposit you can sit back and relax while we get on with the work for you. If your caravan is already on park then you’ll have the keys and be ready to use it in no more than a couple of weeks. Timescales vary if you’ve chosen a caravan from our supplier but we can discuss this with you and will be there to update you through out the process.

You should use the time to look into insuring your caravan. We recommend Leisuredays but there are alternatives out there as well.
